Say Goodbye To Pregnancy Belly Fat For Good

Have you had your baby a few months ago but it still looks like you’ve got a bun in the oven? Are you resigned to the fact that your post pregnancy belly fat is here to stay? None of those things are true and it’s actually not as hard as you think when you combine a few easy techniques into your everyday life.

By losing the pregnancy belly fat you’ll feel great about yourself, experience more energy, and have a happier disposition to share with your new baby. You’re a mom, but you’re still a woman who deserves to feel great about the way you look.

Think how great you’ll feel when you can slip back into your favorite jeans once the pregnancy belly fat disappears. It’s a fact that moms who feel good about themselves have more joy, have much lower rates of postpartum depression, and enjoy the experience of motherhood more. Pregnancy belly fat isn’t as hard to lose as it seems. Here are a few techniques to help you start looking and feeling great.

1.Think long term.

It took almost a year for the pregnancy belly fat to accumulate so don’t get upset when it doesn’t fall off in the first few weeks. Having a realistic goal starting out will keep you motivated. Unrealistic goals will make you feel like you’re defeated before you even begin. Researchers from the University of Toronto said that people who have what’s called the false hope syndrome almost always drop out of their weight loss program because they realize they can’t meet the lofty goals they set up for themselves.

2.Start eating for you and not for two!

Many moms still eat like they’re pregnant with triplets. Keeping a food journal is a great way to see just how many empty calories you’re eating and what kinds of food you are consuming. If you eat the right kinds of food such as lean proteins and vegetables you can keep your calories down, stay full, and still lose the post pregnancy belly fat.

3.Ditch the juice and pop and start drinking good old fashioned water.

Juice and sodas have nothing but empty calories and sugar in them. You’d be surprised by how much post pregnancy belly fat will melt away by skipping out on sugary drinks. Drink at least 64 ounces of water each day.
